Famous Amos Singapore is officially MUIS halal-certified.
The company, which sells bite-sized cookies and a variety of other baked goods such as soft and chewy cookies, muffins, and brownies has made the announcement via a press release seen by The Halal Eater as well as on their social media channels.

In a press release shared with The Halal Eater on November 15, Famous Amos shared that they have received halal certification by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura (MUIS) for all 17 outlets island-wide.
Famous Amos has been in Singapore since 1982.
Before obtaining its halal certification, Famous Amos has been using cookie ingredients that have been certified halal by the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).
With the MUIS halal certification, Famous Amos would like to give consumers the confidence to purchase cookies and other baked goods for their enjoyment or gifting friends and families.
