Popular artisanal macaron shop Sinful Cakes is vacating its Kensington Square premises soon.
Sinful Cakes announced the permanent closure of its one and only physical store on social media two days ago (January 25).
Outlet closing on 29th Jan
If you’re still hoping to grab a few macarons and other baked goods, you still have until 5pm on Jan. 29 (or until sold out) to do so.
The outlet at Kensington Square is Sinful Cakes’ first physical store which opened its doors in early 2020 after years of operating as a home-based business.
The Muslim-owned patisserie is well-known for its wide range of colourful and multi-flavoured macarons, including chunky ones that were all the rage not too long ago.
Other items on the menu include well-loved sweet treats such as basque cheesecakes, brownies, bombolinis and more.
Final sale on 28 – 29 Jan
Sinful Cakes will be celebrating its last couple of days with a final sale on 28 and 29 January.
There will be a storewide discount of 20% off your final bill, with no minimum purchase.
Customers who spend above S$88 will receive a 30% off their total bill.
The sale will happen from 11am to 5.30pm on both dates, or until sold out.
Relocation plans
The patisserie did not cite reasons for closing its shop nor mention anything about moving to a new location.
However, we won’t we surprised if they’ll emerge somewhere else, preferably at a more accessible location with seating this time?
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, assemble your friends and buy as many macarons as you can this weekend.
It’s sinful not to, amirite?
