Halal prawn noodles are seeing traction with new stalls such as this one opening last year.
Now, there’s a new addition to the scene with the opening of a stall called Yummy Raja.
Turmeric rice and prawn noodles
Yummy Raja is a hawker stall at Kopitiam in Sengkang Square that opened for business some time in October last year.
The stall sells turmeric rice dishes and prawn noodles, an iconic Singaporean hawker favourite that typically uses pork ribs/bones in its broth.
Fortunately, Yummy Raja is a halal-certified establishment so rest assured it is safe for Muslim consumption.
Menu & prices
There are two options of prawn noodles to choose from at the stall.
The cheaper bowl is priced at S$5, which consists of prawns and sliced fish cake. For a more indulgent meal, the S$7 bowl comes with clams too.
You can also choose to have the prawn noodle in either soup or dry version.
On the other hand, there are relatively more options of turmeric rices dishes at the stall which include variants such as cheesy chicken chop, BBQ sambal stingray, salted egg chicken and more.
Depending on what you choose, prices range from S$6 to S$8.90 for the rice dishes.
