A new cafe, Lola Faye Cafe, offering gelato, waffles, frappe, sandwiches and croissants has opened on Hamilton Road in the Jalan Besar district.
The Muslim-owned cafe sports a tropical and mid-century modern vibe, with darker furnishing, brown leather seats and foliage designs on its walls:

Menu
The cafe offers a range of items, featuring gelato in a variety of flavours. The gelato is priced at S$5 for a single scoop and S$9 for a double.
Here are some of the gelato flavours:
- Strawberry Dreams
- Rich Hazelnut Rocher
- Dark Fantasy
- Salted Caramel

When ordering the gelato, you can also opt for Buttermilk Belgium Waffles (S$6) to go along with it.

Croissants, brownies, frappes, wraps & sandwiches
Other baked goodies to pair with their gelato include croissants and brownies, and these look super decadent too.

If you’d rather drink your dessert, you can also get Frappes (S$6.90 – S$8.90) in flavours like Matcha Latte, Biscoff, Mint Chocolate, and Strawberry Berry.
But if you’re just seeking a coffee break, there’s also hot and iced coffee (from S$4.90) available, including Toffee Nut Latte!
Whilst Lola Faye Cafe may seem to have a stronger focus on desserts, they do have a small selection of savoury items on the menu.
Famished customers can also enjoy these Wraps & Sandwiches:
- Faye’s Spicy Chicken (S$11.90)
- Specialty Satay Chicken (S$11.90)
- Stir Fry Soy Beef (S$12.90)
For a less heavier option, dig in to a Chicken/Egg Mayo Croissant (S$5.90) instead.
