When halal Italian restaurant Positano Risto opened its first outlet in late 2017, it quickly ranked as the country’s most reviewed #1 Italian Restaurant on TripAdvisor Singapore.
Three years later, the restaurant has opened its second outlet at Raffles Place this month.
According to its social media channels, the Muslim-owned eatery is simply called Positano @ RP and is located at 49 Circular Road. The restaurant has already received 5 star reviews on Tripadvisor despite barely being a month old.
If you are already planning a visit there now, let us pause you right there.
Outlet-exclusive menu
Positano @ RP has a unique menu of its own, which means something you like at the original restaurant in Bussorah Street may not be available here.
For instance, a quick glance at the Nibbles section of the RP menu shows that there are no Spicy Italian Crab Cakes. These are available in the Bussorah menu.
For pastas, RP serves Mac & Cheese with Crab Meat ($16.95). The Bussorah outlet does not.
However, popular favourites such as the Squid Ink Seafood Spaghetti ($23.95), Supreme Calzone ($29.95) and Positano Signature Oreo Chocolate Lava Stack ($13.95) seem to be available at both outlets.

Having outlet-exclusive dishes might be a deliberate move on the restaurant’s part to attract certain clienteles. From a consumer’s perspectives, it just means more variety.
Current promotions
As part of its opening promotion, Positano @ RP is offering set lunch meals starting at $12.95 with a free drink.
Aside from that, diners also get to enjoy free parking when they dine in after 6pm on weekdays and all day on weekends for the entire month of August.
