The recent Circuit Breaker saw a massive emergence of home bakers overnight, and together with them, the inimitable basque burnt cheesecake (or BBC for short).
This isn’t all too surprising as unlike the traditional New York cheesecake, the BBC is relatively easy to make. It is so easy, it has its origins from failed baking experiments.
Many bakers have since come up with unique versions of the BBC, but they all retain these features: a burnt crisp top, a custardy, wobbly cheesecake underneath, and a gooey lava centre.
Here, we rounded up halal places – from eateries to home-based businesses – that deliver this popular cake right to your doorstep.
If you know of other places that should be included in this list, let us know in the comments below.
